Is an Important think when we are talking about strategies and how good a cards is but when it is the only thing that we use to determine how good a card is and how ban worthy a card is it an leave us with weird results that we our selves know cant be right without even needing to look over anything
For those of you who don't know what card advantage is it nothing more then calculating how much cards you had before making a play/move/combo and how many cards you had after then you substract what your opponent lost and then you get either a negative or positive number and thats is what you gained or lost in card advantage
Card advantage only counts cards in hand and field and so the Graveyard,Deck and RFP Zone aren't counted
They technically are but not really and what i mean by this is when say you get a monster from your graveyard/RFP Zone it can be considered a +1(Depending on the way that you got the card out) since the number of cards in your field just when up
While is a card is removed from play from your graveyard or a card in your RFP Zone is sent to the graveyard then that aint counted as a lost nor gain of card advantage
IDK why im explaining it since i wouldn't think that new people to Yu-Gi-Oh would go searching for things like this lol
Back to this when using only Card Advantage to compare cards you can end up with weird result in which card is better for this ill be using 2 cards Call of the Haunted and Monster Reborn 1 is obviously better then the other one since its faster and doesn't stay on the field and thereby making the monster vulnerable to both destruction by cards that can destroy monster and spells and trap cards(Destroying Call of the Haunted will destroy the monster revived by it) BUT
When comparing the cards only using card advantage the better card results in Call of the Haunted since it is a +1 play while Monster Reborn is a 1 for 1 since you lost 1 card and gained 1 card while in the case of Call you didn't lose any card card and gained 1 card
In a case were a player has 2 cards on the field and 5 cards in the hand and a player plays monster reborn from the field the player would end up with 2 cards i the field and 5 cards in the hand while if Call of the haunted were to be played then the player would then have 3 cards on the field and 5 cards in the hand making the play a +1

Maybe ill talk abit latter on about CA this is just a post to update the site and nothing big/else but i hope you guys enjoy also ill be finishing the list in abit and hopefully be updating the site more

Where some of the banned cards whould be at
Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning - Can be safely put at 1
Cyber Jar - Banned
Cyber-Stein - Can benefit alot of cards but require the banning of 1 or 2 cards
Dark Magician of Chaos - Can be at 2 without a problem but requires that monster reborn be banned
Destiny Hero - Disk Commander - Is a card that can never come back from the banned section of the ban-list because of its ridiculous effect and it easy to fulfill requirements
Fiber Jar - Another card that should never come back to this game
Magical Scientist - Should be unbanned as the for the banning of this card was the magical scientist OTK which uses the card catipult turtle which is a card that see no play whatsoever(Seriously) and while this card has the opportunity of help out fusion so i believe that instead of this card being banned catapult turtle should be banned instead
Ill finish the list in another post ill also be start posting about why cards should come back from the ban-list and some that belong there but i just haven't been playing Yu-Gi-Oh and because of this i couldn't make any new post Though i should have time by next week and that hopefully when i can update the site alot

Yata-Garasu
Yata-Garasu is one of the reasons why we currently have a ban-list in the game of Yu-Gi-Oh was a card that was extremely Over Powered back in 2004 when cards like CED(Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End) and BLS-EotB(Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning) were at 3
At this current time i considered that the card is trash can be brought back to 1 without creating any problems in the meta or affecting it in any ways since the only deck that can truly take advantage of this card is a deck build around Sky Scourge Norleras which i honestly haven't seen in a while and i wouldnt even consider the deck a tier 2 deck
The reason why this card would be useful in any other deck or why other decks might not use it is because the fact that this card is a spirit monster and so it lacks the ability to be special summoned and needs to be constantly summoned for you to gain anything from his effect
Taking the normal summon aint usually a big deal but in this case because almost all top decks this format are very dependent on their normal summon to set-up their win condition and/or set up their field presence
Since Yata requires the players normal summon for the turn the player losses the option to set-up their field and must delay any combos that the deck is capable of pushing out in hopes of successfully being able to summoned Yata the next turn which leaves their field open to alot of removal cards as the opponent would have 3 turns to disrupt it and so ruining the players plan and given them a huge boost in the duel
Most players aren't willing to risk loosing the game for a chance to set-up a win condition with as many holes as this one
The only way to to use Yata so that it works in your advantage is for your opponent to have an empty field which since Yata's body is so small that it cant run over 99.9% of commonly used monsters and though he wont be on the field for your opponents turn they can still remove it with Trap cards or Quick Spells
If your opponent doesn't have their monster zone open then you cant summon Yata as it will probably be useless and if your opponents back-row aint cleared then your taking a huge risk and that is something you cant risk because if 1 of their face down is a removal card the your win condition goes out the windows and you must make new decisions while thinking of a way to win
The risk in playing Yata aint worth what it brings as it wont be useful when your opponent has anything on the field or in the hand for that matter because if you attack with Yata and they have anything that can remove it in their hand then there really aint anything to stop them from letting you summon it and then killing it
When a player is as defenseless as you need him to be for Yata to actually be good you can make a bigger difference by summoning regular beatsticks then Yata also because he requires that the opponent be so defenseless for him to be good he is likely to be a dead card early to mid game
Which is when most decks gain advantage in order to capitalize later on and having dead cards/dead draws dont really help any decks
Yata can safely come to 1 in 2001 because of the lack of a a field clearer(CED) and because the overwhelming amount of removal available to decks the risk that it requires to be played doesn't help it and the lack of synergy kills it
Ill be making a comparison on Yata and Spirit reaper later on :)

What is this site about
This site is going to be about the ban-list part of Yu-Gi-Oh as it is my favorite part of Yu-Gi-Oh because there is only a limited amount of banned/limited/semi-limited cards in the game post might be rare and i might only post consistently around march and september as those are the time where we get the new ban-List but check the site regularly for any updates
:)
